The Crone-dogg is at it again. This movie is looking pretty intriguing despite the casting of that Twilight pussy. Cronenberg explains his casting process here, which is actually pretty interesting. He also acknowledges and celebrates that the movie shares themes with the occupy movement that came into the spotlight at the same time as they were filming in Manhattan.
I don't know anything about the novel this is based off of, but Dan (who I work with) told me that DeLillo is an important figure in the postmodern literary movement. Here is the cover of the book (which looks like a still from a Biggie music video).
