Rebus puzzles appeared on Ballantine Ale, Ballantine Beer, Ballantine India Pale Ale, Falstaff, Haffenreffer, Kassel, Lone Star, Lucky Lager, Narragansett, Pearl, Rainier Ale, Regal, and Texas Pride during the 1970's and the 1980's. They were called "Crown Ticklers".
A rebus is a puzzle that consists of pictures of objects, signs, etc, which by the sound of their names suggest words or phrases."
