Our good buddy Brett turned me on to this. These guys Team Teamwork have created numerous mash-up albums featuring rap acapellas over chopped and screwed themes from classic RPGs. The Ocarina of Rhyme takes raps from such stars as Clipse, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Aesop Rock, and MF Doom over music from the legendary Zelda series. One of their other albums, Vinyl Fantasy 7 takes samples from-- you guessed it-- the Final Fantasy games. Check out a sample clip below:
