Moving On

Fried Fun was in the first 10 post I ever did on this here blog, and I'm sorry to say that location no longer exists. I was there on the last night they ever served dumplings and it was glorious dispite being sad because I ate 20 of their delectable fried dough wrapped pork delights. Although they've been closed for a few months I've been searching far and wide through the underbelly of Manhattan's Chinatown. Everyone and their mother knows Vanessa's on eldridge and broome, but this place you may have missed.

C & L Dumplings (Chrystie btwn Hester and Grand)

They have my endorsement for a number of reasons

-although it is 5 dumplings for $1.25 (a quarter more than I'm used to) it is still worth it because increments of dumplings in 4 (like Vanessa's does it is just wierd.

-They sell $1.00 Arizona Teas. The best deal in the city. (duh)

-Their Pan Fried Buns are three for $1.00 and they're unmatched.

-Finally, they have the most extensive and cheapest menu of any dumpling house I've ever seen.

- oh ya! and their open till 9:30 pm (rare in chinatown)

Save yourself some money and go check it out
